Este aviso está disponible en alemán (versión vinculante) e inglés; aquí se muestra en inglés.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
[NAME / COMPANY], [STREET AND NUMBER], [POSTCODE CITY], Germany.
Email: [EMAIL ADDRESS]
2. Overview
Protecting your personal data matters to us. This website is built as a static site and processes as little data as possible. The answers you give in the questionnaire are processed exclusively in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. When you access the site, the host processes technically necessary connection data (in particular your IP address and the date and time of access) in server log files in order to deliver and secure the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with netcup GmbH. Processing takes place within the European Union.
4. Server log files
The host automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. These are typically: IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.
5. Cookies and local storage
Without your consent to web analytics, this website sets no tracking cookies. We store technically necessary information in your browser’s local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage): your chosen appearance (light/dark), your consent decision, and — while you answer — your questionnaire responses. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
The legal basis for technically necessary storage is § 25 (2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
6. Consent (consent banner)
On your first visit, a consent banner asks for your decision on web analytics. Analytics tools are loaded only after you have consented; your decision is stored in your browser. You can withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future by clearing the stored state or reopening the banner.
To display the banner, the open-source library “cookieconsent” is loaded via the jsDelivr content delivery network (served through Fastly). Your IP address may be transmitted to the CDN provider in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning consent mechanism pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
7. Web analytics with Matomo
If you consent, we use Matomo, an open-source tool for statistical analysis of website usage. Matomo is self-hosted by us (matomo.vibrantcluster.de); analytics data is not shared with third parties.
Matomo processes information about your usage (e.g. pages viewed, approximate origin, browser used). Your IP address is anonymized. Cookies or local-storage entries may be set for this purpose.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
8. Result links
When you share your result, the calculated percentage values are stored in encoded form in the address (URL) of the result link. The link contains no real names or other personal data. Anyone who receives the link can see the result encoded within it. Sharing happens solely through you.
9. Fonts
Fonts are served locally from this server (self-hosting). No connection to third-party servers — in particular not to Google Fonts — is made.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise your rights.
11. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
12. Data security
This website uses TLS/SSL encryption to protect data in transit. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
13. Automated decisions
No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place. The evaluation of your questionnaire is purely for entertainment and happens locally in your browser.
14. Currency of this policy
This privacy policy is dated July 2026. As the website develops or legal requirements change, it may become necessary to update it.
